The joyous festival of Eid ul- Fitr marks the end of Ramazan or Ramadan and is celebrated by Muslims all across the globe. The auspicious day is celebrated by breaking the 30-day long fast, known as Roza, with a grand feast. Eid is an important festival of the Muslim community and is celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm by people all over the world. Such gestures are widely regarded as a show of goodwill and go a long way in promoting the message of peace that is espoused by festivals across different religions.
It has been a long running tradition between the two forces to exchange sweets on the festive occasions.
Both the Border Guarding Force share coordial and cogenial relations. The exchange of Sweets between the two Border Guarding Forces comes as a goodwill gesture and reflects true comradeship. It also helps in building and strengthening the cordial relations.
