Tirthankar Mukharjee : The Border Security Force is always ready to help the border residents along the borders of the country, whether it is in pandemic situation like corona period or normal situation. A similar example has been set by the troops of 107 Battalion of South Bengal Frontier, deployed on the Indo-Bangladesh Border in North 24 Parganas district.
On May 4, 2022, at around 05 00 hours, a young woman namely Rupa Bishwas from village- Kulanandpur, W/o- Rizual Bishwas, was torment with pain all over her body. When the family members of the woman sought help from the company commander of BSF Border Out Post Boyra to take her to the hospital, he without delay sent a BSF ambulance along with a nursing assistant to Rupa Bishwas’s house. The Nursing Assistant provided first aid and evacuated Rupa Bishwas along with her family members to the Bagdah Hospital for treatment. The patient’s condition is said to be fine.
The young husband expressed his gratitude towards BSF Rupa Bishwas’s husband Rizual Bishwas expressed his gratitude to the Borde r Security Force and said that if the BSF did not help them at the right time, then there could have been a big tragedy.
Sunil Singh, Commanding Officer, 107 Battalion expressed happiness over this commendable work of his troops and said that Border Security Force always remains with the border people in every happiness and misery along with curbing the crimes on the border. Such good works boost the cordial relations between BSF and civil people.
