Border Security Force apprehended 8 Bangladeshi while crossing international border

Tirthankar Mukharjee,North 24 Pargana : On 11th November, 2021, Border Security Force troops under South Bengal Frontier apprehended 8 Bangladeshi nationals while crossing the Border illegally from the area of ​​Border Out Post  Hakimpur, Bithari and Tarali, District North 24 Parganas.

On 11th November, 2021, based on intelligence inputs, the troops of Border Out Post Hakimpur apprehended 6 Bangladeshi nationals who were trying to come to India from Bangladesh.

The apprehended persons have been identified as 1. Amio Mandal, age 30 years, father Karthik Mandal, village Santala, PS Keshabpur, District Jessore, Bangladesh, 2. Sushanta Golder, age 26 years, father Subhash Golder, village Pakhulla, PS Rajor, District Madripur, Bangladesh, 3. Sukanta Golder, age 18, father Sukumar Golder, village Amgram, PS Rajor, Districtaaq.

Madripur, Bangladesh, 4. Sohag Khalifa, age 21 years, father Late Jabbar Khalifa, village Sandhi Kuri, PS Rajor, District Madripur  , Bangladesh, 5. Pratibha Mandal, age 50 years, Father Late Nalini Mandal, village Santola, Thana Keshabpur, District Jessore, Bangladesh, 6. Akhi Chand, Age 33 years, Father Late Jhantu Burman, village Conoxar, PS Lohajang, District Munshiganj.

In another incident, a Bangladeshi national who was trying to cross over to Bangladesh was apprehended by the jawans of the Border Out Post Bithari. The apprehended person has been identified as Tamim Sheikh, age 18 years, father Late Mohammad Saboor Sheikh, village & PS Rajour, District Madripur, Bangladesh.

Apart from this, in another incident, a Bangladeshi national while crossing IB from India to Bangladesh was apprehended by the jawans of Border Out Post Tarali.  The person has been identified as Sumi Sheikh, age 29, village Nuakhali, PS Ramgati, District Laxmipur, Bangladesh.

During preliminary questioning, it was revealed that some of the apprehended persons were coming to India in search of work and for the purpose of getting their medical treatment and some persons were going to Bangladesh to meet their relatives.

All the apprehended persons have been handed over to the concerned Police Stations for further legal action.
